Data Scientist - Axiata Digital Analytics Singapore PVT LTD, Sri Lanka - (August 2020 - Present)

Conducted a vast range of Adhoc analyses using PySpark, including data cleansing, provisioning for major business initiatives related to several Telco projects, adhering to internal and external client requirements & providing client support, which resulted $102,000 worth of deliveries in 2022.
Responsible for backend data generation with AWS EMR, S3 & maintaining standard versions of dashboards on monthly basis utilizing Tableau, Redshift & SQL workbench while supporting customized versions for clients & sales pitches.
Initiated the pipeline automation for 5 dashboards for 8 countries, reducing 576 hours of manual work, along with dashboard documentation, quality check procedure & script versioning using Git.
Successfully completed detailed programming & development task for a rule-based model for internal use based on business requirements, which eventually resulted an increased demand in 7 dashboards & multiple data deliveries.
Ensuring the availability of necessary data requirements. Analysis used in data council to identify impact & potential data replacement options for 3 countries.
Involved in machine learning model retraining, maintenance & next phase model enhancement using Python.
Created AWS setup guidelines & maintained the documentation for new joiners which was used by more than 10 newcomers in the team, as well as ensuring a smooth transition along with training.
