IT Support Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating technology Issues.
• Download all the e-invoices from the suppliers & check against the delivery from the site.
• Reconcile all the purchase invoices and allocate payments accordingly.

Responsibilities:

• Gather the business requirements from the user and study the system then suggest a feasible solution.
• Prepare system requirement specifications (SRS) report to get approval from the user and the IT audit.
• Coordinate the developer, QA team, and the user until the final product.
• Maintain the “Requirement traceability matrix” for whole systems in the company.

Responsibilities:

• Check the data files used for the valuation process.
• Prepare the “key characteristic document” (internal) for each quarter and analyze the company performance.
• Maintain & document the details about the products available in the company and the industry.
• Engage in special calculations. Eg: surrender values, single premium, etc… (Support the Policyholder service dept.).
• Handle the technical aspects pertaining to the Actuarial department (automate the calculations, check the systems when it’s developed by IT developers) Eg: Automate the premium calculation, Persistency calculation and surrender value calculation.

Responsibilities:

• Generate the traffic reports and analyzing the traffic.
• Monitor and analyze the total Lanka Bell network performance.
• Forecast the future requirements.
• Prepare the monthly performance report to the higher manager.
