IT Engineer

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Using SSCM efficiently.
• Maintain SLA for all tasks and incidents on Service now.
• Handling more than 300 users and various servers i.e. (File, print, backup, lotus Notes etc.).
• Budgeting, Sanctioning and Approval follow-up for budgets for IT Hardware Upgrades and IT Consumables.
• Coordinating with various vendors for procuring IT Consumables. This includes procurement of computer peripherals, software, application, technology solutions, IT consumables etc. keeping in mind to drive the cost reduction for the company.
• Supplier selection, negotiations, evaluation and supplier relationships. Provide feedback to auditors.
• Security Incident Management to ensure that all the IT related incidents are noted, analyzed and escalated and learning from the incidents are documented and used in future to avoid such incidents.
• Ensuring latest Antivirus files are updated on desktops, laptops & servers.
• Desktop Asset Management / Laptop Asset Management.
• Procurement Planning, Indenting and approval follow – up.
• Audit schedule and requirements, Front and asset management audit.
• Physical verification reports with discrepancy.
• Management of user account through Active Directory and access control to client data.
• Installation of windows operating system, installation of software’s in all the workstations, Maintaining Asset Register and vendor contacts register.
• Telephonic support and remote support to remote sites.
• Responsible for update the version of virus and update the same in all the workstations.
• Maintaining Asset Register and vendor contact register.
• Responsible for data recovery from backup whenever any disaster or damage occur.
