Data Scientist

I have mainly worked in Retail and Manufacturing Domain use-cases from ideation stage to Independence stage. Promotion effectiveness, Personalization, Fresh pricing, Production planning are some of the use-cases I have worked. The responsibilities I have hold as in my current position are,

• Formulating, suggesting, and managing data-driven use-cases
• Design the analytical solution and deliver the solution on time
• Pilot design and help business to evaluate the use-case value
• Roll out the use-cases and help business to monitor the performance of the use-case
• Interactive with business to gather important information about the problem
• Present bi-weekly updates to the business and make sure, they are confident with the solution
• Delegating tasks to Junior Data Scientists, monitor the performance, and provide guidance
• Prepare technical and non-technical document
• Code review and production practices checking

I have mainly worked in Retail domain and delivering multiple use-cases. I worked in Intelligence, Inception and
Interventions stages. My responsibilities were,

• Identify the relevant data sources for the use-case and process in a usable format
• Build predictive models to solve the use-case
• Evaluate multiple models
• Prepare analysis to validate the solution suggested
• Present information using data visualization techniques
• Prepare model tracking dashboard and monitor the performance of the model
• Build end-to-end pipeline to automate the use-case

I had the chance to enhance azure cloud platform and setting up analytical architectures. Apart from that me
responsibilities were,

• Extracting data from different sources
• Implement data pipelines
• Set up cloud platform for the analytical team
• Implement predictive models
• Check and validate different models
• Create visualization dashboards
• Prepare reports

• Worked in Machine Learning & Data Science team in Research & Development.

• The Karsha project aims to develop next generation financial cyber infrastructure tools to support data science for finance.
