- Attend to Network Trouble Shooting
- Ensure network connectivity of Server and POS systems.
- Attend to Access Point configuration
Bank of Ceylon Head Office and branches
- Ensure to maintain 100% connectivity with the entire branch network by:
  - Checking router connectivity and making sure Telecom connectivity is in order
  - Checking service connectivity to ensure all bank authorized staff could access the system.
- Confirm connectivity between internet work pinging rate is 100% between user to user.
- Make sure floor to floor uplink connectivity’s are in order.
- Provide on spot solutions (i.e., short term outlet repairs, instant bridging solutions due to cable breakdowns etc.)
- All Island On call duty due to network breakdowns.
- To make sure each and every authorized user can access the Bank system upon configuring the network of
  Client PC.
- Network Testing at new Sites
- Testing Newly Installed Network with FLUKE Network testing (Fluke 1800 DTX) – to ensure 100% connectivity, upon completion of final network installations.
Other Responsibilities
- Maintaining and configuring Windows Server (DNS, Active directory, etc.)
- Knowledge in network outlets and patch panel as well as cable arrangement.
- User sharing and security setup in Microsoft Operating systems etc.
- Troubleshooting computer and laptops faults
