Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant - JHPIEGO- DREAMS Project - (June 2022 – September 2022)

  • Conduct routine MER Client level data verification against reports pulled from DHIS2 
  • Conduct Bi-weekly collection, verification and entry of DREAMS data 
  • Assist in Supervision and mentorship of field staff (HDAS, ECs, PEs, CBDAs, Facilitators) 
  • Ensure CBDAS, Facilitators and other staff have uploaded data in the database and send daily upload reports to the M&E officer 
  • Assist in field visit follow-up assessments, routine data quality assurance and verification exercises and supportive supervision visits at site/facility level as necessary 
  • Responding to day-to-day tablet queries and troubleshooting. 
  • Work closely with the MER staff and Digital Health Advisor in ensuring timely and accurate data management and reporting. 
  • Assists in all data processing functions that include data entry, data validation and reports and send daily uploads to MER officer. 
  • Assures the quality and integrity of data entered into the project’s databases. 
  • Second line support for district and zonal staff with the project’s databases which include DHIS2 and DHIS2 mobile. 
  • Train users and provide refresher trainings in database systems at zonal level. 
  • Liaise, establish, and maintain productive, effective working relationships with clinic staff at research sites and ensure minimum disruption to normal clinic activities 
  • Conducting real-time data collection, reviews and entry for all Dreams programs indicators 
  • Continuously data entry to ensure data in DHIS2 is up to date. 
  • Extracting data from electronic data base for verification, cleaning and analysis. 
  • Conducting Constant data verification and cleaning to maintaining data quality 
  • Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly report and submit to M&E officer and Zonal Coordinators 
  • Ensure proper filling and storing of M&E documents 
  • Keenly track project through standardized data collection tools 
  • Conducting capacity building and mentorship to field staff (service providers) 
  • Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection 
  • Developing and maintaining zonal dreams database.

Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant - JHPIEGO: Faith Community Initiative Project - (July 2021- March 2022)

  • Conducting weekly collection, verification and entry of FCI data. 
  • Conducting Linkage data verification in all facilities.  
  • Monthly data entry into DHIS2.  
  • Compiling weekly, monthly and quarterly programs report. 
  • Assisting in Supervision and mentorship of field staff (HDAS, ECs, PEs, CBDAs,)  
  • Providing periodic feedback to health facilities on site data management  
  • Assisting in field visit follow-up assessments, routine data quality assurance and verification exercises and supportive supervision visits at site/facility level as necessary

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer - MAEVE Project - (September 2019 – June 2021)

  • Collecting data on regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators 
  • Checking data quality with partners 
  • Maintaining and administering the M&E database; analysing and aggregating the findings 
  • Supporting project progress reporting, project mid- term review and final evaluation 
  • Identifying areas where technical support to project partners is required. Organise refresher training on M&E for partners as required 
  • Identifying lessons learnt and develop case studies to capture qualitative outputs of the project 
  • Providing advice to the supervisor on improving project performance using M&E findings 
  • Designing data collection tools using Kobo collect, ODK, Endev survey

  • Supporting all M&E initiatives for assigned projects including monitoring data quality, tracking progress of activities and contributing to staff capacity building 
  • Supporting project officer in creating a framework and procedures for the M&E of project activities

  • Ability to enter and analyse data in DHIS2 and other statistical packages like SPSS, STATA, Eviews and also ability analyse qualitative data using NVIVO
